Dog Owner/Handler Course

Spend the weekend with Black Paw Canine's Master Dog Trainers to further develop your skills as a dog handler.  Over the course of this weekend you will increase your knowledge about dogs, dog behavior and training.  The best part about this weekend is that you get to experience it with your dog!  We encourage you to bring your dog with you so that you may have hands on experience, trouble shoot areas with your own dog and build a better relationship with them through touch and communication.

This course is open to all levels of dog owners and dog handlers.  We do require that that dog that you chose to bring to course is up to date on their vaccines.

• Dog psychology
• Training philosophies
• Training methods & training tools
• The "How Tos" when teaching basic obedieance
• Why structure & handling are important
• Why health, fitness &  wellness checks are important
• Earn your Canine First Aid Certificate
• Understanding your dogs nutrition
• Training myths & misconceptions
• Dog Selection - personal/professional/service
• Public interaction/access with your dog

At the completion of this course you will recieve your Dog Owner/Handler Certification and your Public Access & Obedience Certificate!
