About the Event
Let's become a Superhero K9 Team! Join BrewDog and Black Paw Canine as we have a bit of fun while we teach our dogs and their handlers some tips and tricks to becoming an amazing team!
We will be hosting a Costume contest for all dogs at 2pm - Dress your dog as your favorite Superhero! The winner will enjoy a fun prize provided by Black Paw Canine.
Begining at 3pm our group Legion members (registered attendees) will begin their group lesson.
Topics to be covered:
- Brief overview on keeping your dog safe during warmer months (signs of heat streass & what to do).
- Is your dog ready for public spaces - we will help you better understand signs that your dog is stressed and how to work through it.
- How to work through outside distractions (sights, sounds and smells).
- How to work the Place/Spot and Down commands in public settings.
- How to reinforce the Down/Sit Stay commands.
We will follow the class with a Q&A session with our trainers.
